Hello, I'd like to limit the activity stream to only Updates and maybe 1 or 2 other options. What is the best way to do this please?
I know it has something to do with this: bp_has_activities( 'action=activity_update') but I don't know what to edit or where to edit it. I'm new to BP. Thanks!

NICE! Thanks. I'm taking a look now. The thing that troubles me is:
"If you block an activity stream type – there is no reverting back"
I know it blocks the activity writing to the database, but if I deactivate
the plugin, will things revert back to normal? Or is this a permanent
even without the plugin?

As per as I can think, If you disable the plugin, the activity will return to normal state(i.e should be recorded for all the component but any activity which was lost when the plugin was activated will not be recovered)
